I'm often asked where I store all of my kayaks. . . .
I live in a 1913 corner storefront-- an old grocery store. The living room is big, once
having been the sales floor.
I have sixteen boats in my living room (as of 2009).
Not all of them are kayaks. This is a double outrigger dugout canoe from the Philippine Islands.
(Purchased from an antique importer in Portland, Oregon, 1996). Another boat in my living room
is a Chinese Tub Boat.
This is my garage, where I build kayaks. It has also become an 'overflow' storage
area for more kayaks. I have another 20 boats in a garage in Washington.
