WEST GREENLAND STYLE KAYAK
This kayak is not a replica of a specific kayak, but is instead a semi-replica-- having been built 'in the spirit' of Greenland kayaks from the Northern West coast. It was made to be especially light weight, and was built for my mother. It measures 16'2-1/2" long, and is 20-5/8"wide, with depths of 7-5/8" to sheer, and 10-1/8" overall. The dark ends are cedar, the rest of the kayak is cypress, fir, ash, pine, port-orford cedar, hemlock, and spruce.
